Which browsers are supported?
Cafe Trading works best on modern browsers with JavaScript enabled:

The platform is loading slowly or not at all. What should I do?
Try these troubleshooting steps in order:
- 1. Clear your browser cache and cookies
- 2. Disable browser extensions temporarily
- 3. Try incognito/private browsing mode
- 4. Check your internet connection speed
- 5. Try a different browser
- 6. Restart your router/modem
I'm getting JavaScript errors. How do I fix this?
JavaScript errors can prevent the platform from working properly. Ensure JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings, disable ad blockers for Cafe Trading, update your browser to the latest version, and clear your browser cache. If problems persist, try using a different browser.
The charts are not displaying correctly. What's wrong?
Chart display issues are often caused by browser compatibility or network problems. Refresh the page, clear your browser cache, check if WebGL is enabled in your browser, disable hardware acceleration if charts appear corrupted, and ensure you have a stable internet connection.
Connection and Performance
Why am I seeing "Connection Lost" or "Disconnected" messages?
Connection issues can be caused by network instability, firewall restrictions, or server maintenance. Check your internet connection, try refreshing the page, disable VPN if you're using one, check if your firewall is blocking WebSocket connections, and contact your ISP if problems persist.
Real-time prices are not updating. How do I fix this?
Real-time data relies on WebSocket connections. If prices aren't updating: refresh the page, check your network connection, disable browser extensions that might block WebSockets, ensure your firewall allows WebSocket connections, and try switching to a different network if possible.
My orders are taking too long to execute. Is there a problem?
Order execution depends on market conditions and order type. Market orders execute immediately at current prices. Limit orders only execute when the market reaches your specified price. Check the order book depth, ensure sufficient liquidity at your price level, and consider using market orders for immediate execution.
What should I do if the platform is running slowly?
Platform performance can be affected by various factors: close unnecessary browser tabs, disable resource-heavy browser extensions, check your internet speed (minimum 1 Mbps recommended), clear browser cache and cookies, restart your browser, and consider upgrading your device if it's older.
Mobile and Device Issues
Does Cafe Trading work on mobile devices?
Yes, Cafe Trading is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. For the best experience, use Chrome or Safari on mobile. The interface automatically adapts to smaller screens. We're also developing native mobile apps for iOS and Android that will be available soon.
The mobile interface is not displaying correctly. What can I do?
Mobile display issues can usually be resolved by: refreshing the page, clearing your mobile browser cache, ensuring you're using a supported mobile browser, checking your screen orientation (some features work better in landscape), and updating your mobile browser to the latest version.
Can I use Cafe Trading on a tablet?
Absolutely! Cafe Trading works excellently on tablets with larger screens providing a better trading experience than phones. iPads and Android tablets are fully supported. Use landscape orientation for the best experience, especially when viewing charts and the order book.
Touch controls are not working properly on mobile. How do I fix this?
Touch control issues can be caused by browser compatibility or device settings. Try refreshing the page, ensure your device's touch sensitivity is properly calibrated, disable any screen protectors that might interfere with touch, and try using a different mobile browser if problems persist.
Wallet and Web3 Issues
My wallet won't connect to Cafe Trading. What should I do?
Wallet connection issues can have several causes: ensure your wallet extension is installed and unlocked, refresh the page and try connecting again, check if your wallet is on the correct network (Ethereum mainnet), disable other wallet extensions temporarily, and try connecting with a different wallet if available.
I'm getting "Transaction Failed" errors. Why is this happening?
Transaction failures can occur due to insufficient gas fees, network congestion, or wallet issues. Ensure you have enough ETH for gas fees, increase gas price during network congestion, check if your wallet has sufficient balance, and try the transaction again after a few minutes.
MetaMask is showing the wrong network. How do I switch?
Cafe Trading will prompt you to switch to the correct network automatically. If this doesn't work: open MetaMask, click the network dropdown at the top, select "Ethereum Mainnet" or the required network, refresh the Cafe Trading page, and try connecting again.
My wallet balance is not showing correctly. What's wrong?
Balance display issues can be caused by network delays or caching. Try refreshing the page, disconnect and reconnect your wallet, check your wallet directly to confirm the actual balance, ensure you're on the correct network, and wait a few minutes for blockchain confirmations.
Common Error Messages
"Insufficient Balance" error when placing orders
This error means you don't have enough funds for the order. Check your available balance, ensure you're not trying to use funds that are already in open positions, account for trading fees in your calculations, and consider that leverage affects the margin required, not the position size.
"Order size too small" or "Order size too large" errors
Each trading pair has minimum and maximum order sizes. Check the trading limits page for specific requirements, ensure your order meets the minimum size requirements, for large orders, consider breaking them into smaller chunks, and verify you're using the correct decimal precision.
"Rate limit exceeded" error message
This error occurs when you're placing orders too quickly. Wait a few seconds before placing another order, avoid rapid-fire clicking on order buttons, consider using limit orders instead of multiple market orders, and contact support if you need higher rate limits for legitimate trading strategies.
"Session expired" or "Please log in again" messages
Sessions expire for security reasons after periods of inactivity. Simply reconnect your wallet to log back in, ensure your wallet is unlocked, refresh the page if the login prompt doesn't appear, and consider enabling "Stay logged in" if available in your wallet settings.
